This is wedding invitation is actually amazing. There are so many colours and textures being used and it just works. Riley at Papellerie created this lovely set for Ailee and Sasha who were having a Napa Valley Summer wedding. The Save the Date card was die cut into the shape of a wine bottle and grapes were incorporated into their designs.
First, you have the lined outer envelope with a custom calligraphy guest address. Nobody does this but it’s so pretty! The invitation is a letterpressed AND gold foiled white cardstock. I love this combination of gold and soft pink. And because this invitation is not amazing enough, Riley came up with the brilliant idea of adding a pocket to the back on the invitation to hold the reply card the map. I love this idea!
The map is a custom illustration and it adds some whimsy to the ultra high-end gold foil script typography of the invitation suite. Oh, and the rehearsal dinner invitation was done with gold foil type on an oak wood card. So, no big deal.
I don’t know if you could fit any more unique techniques into one wedding invitation, but Riley does it flawlessly. The colours are not matchy-matchy, and that’s what makes it look so modern. Jump over to Papellerie for more photos!
We love making new friends!
