Story

Victoria and Robert didn’t want to spare any expense with their wedding invitations and stationery. They wanted a high-end look, but not necessarily a traditional one. I achieved this through careful selection of typeface, paper and printing techniques. I used a beautiful serif typeface for all the text, but used the heaviest weight for the headers to add drama. Then I used a black-on-black letterpress printing technique to create an invitation that was not only unique, but a showpiece as well. The other pieces were printed on a gold cardstock to add warmth and visual interest.
